Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reported the news on Eaton, who indicated he "should be fishing" two to three weeks after Monday's operation.
Eaton has posted a .904 OPS since the All-Star break, showing that he has some pop in his bat to go with exceptional speed that's seen him rack up 19 triples over the past two seasons.
