The New York Yankees are sitting comfortably at 2-0 after a 6-3 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday.
The Yankees took a 3-0 lead after two innings thanks to an error that brought home Gleyber Torres and a pair of RBI from Alex Verdugo and Aaron Judge. Cleveland got on the board with a pair of runs in the fifth, which ultimately wasn't too much damage done considering it had the bases loaded with no outs.
New York added to its lead in the sixth after an Anthony Rizzo double combined with a fielding error led to Anthony Volpe scoring.
