Cubs, Zobrist agree to 4-year, $56M contract

The Chicago Cubs and free-agent infielder Ben Zobrist have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $56 million deal, sources told ESPN's Buster Olney and Jesse Rogers.

The move will reunite Zobrist with his former manager in Tampa Bay, Joe Maddon. The deal includes a no-trade clause, a source told ESPN's Jim Bowden.

The Cubs also traded Starlin Castro to the New York Yankees on Monday, sources told ESPN's Andrew Marchand.

Zobrist was a key part of the Kansas City Royals' 2015 championship team, batting .
