The MLB Trade Deadline is rapidly approaching, coming in just a few short weeks at the end of the month. As a result, trade rumors are flying across the league as talks heat up. There's already been one notable trade today with Washington Nationals getting some bullpen help from the Oakland Athletics. Here are all the latest MLB trade rumors from the hot stove you need to know.
Orioles Ready To Sell
The Orioles are tied for last in the AL East, with a 42-48 record. Now, the team is ready to sell according to Ken Rosenthal.
"[Orioles GM Dan Duquette is] informing teams that he is willing to deal his top relievers and potential free-agent outfielder Seth Smith as long as he receives ownership approval, major-league sources say," Rosenthal writes on his Facebook Page. "The Orioles are not willing to listen on center fielder Adam Jones and third baseman Manny Machado, sources say – Machado, a potential free agent after next season, is batting only .234, perhaps diminishing his value. They also do not intend to trade reliever Mychal Givens, who is drawing interest but is under club control through 2021."
Rosenthal mentions both Zach Britton and Darren O'Day as two trade options. He reports the Dodgers and Astros are among the teams looking at Britton.
Red Sox And Todd Frazier
Rosenthal has already reported that a deal between the Red Sox and White Sox for Todd Frazier seems likely. It appears that deal is getting closer and closer.
The #Redsox moving closer to acquiring #Whitesox 3B Todd Frazier. Be interesting if Boston can get David Robertson as setup man in package

It's still unclear what Boston will give up for Frazier, who has one year left on his deal. Boston has had poor play from its third basemen this year and they just DFA'd Pablo Sandoval. Frazier started year slowly, but he's a proven commodity who is a perfect fit in Fenway Park with his home run pull power.

J.D. Martinez
With a 40-49 record, the Tigers are likely sellers at the trade deadline. One name that has emerged is RF J.D. Martinez. There's plenty of interest in Martinez, reports the Boston Globe.
"The Cardinals, Dodgers, and Royals seem to be the favorites to land Martinez, an impending free agent," Nick Cafardo writes. "The Tigers would only receive a fourth-round pick as compensation if they lose him to free agency."
Jon Morosi also adds that the Rockies are interested in Martinez. He's hitting .306 this year with 15 home runs in a strong year. But as a rental, the Tigers are willing to move him. Still, he could bring a quality return.
