The MLB postseason is fully underway today with Game 2 of the ALCS and Game 1 of the NLCS taking place. We have some updates relating to those games, but there are also plenty of rumors swirling about the 26 other teams that are not in the playoffs - including some that are looking for new managers. Here are all the latest news & rumors you need to know from around the league:
Corey Seager not on Dodgers' NLCS roster
Los Angeles Dodgers star shortstop Corey Seager was not included on the team's NLCS roster due to pain in his lower back. The pain was so bad that he received an epidural injection, according to J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group.
Corey Seager received an epidural injection from Dr. Robert Watkins and is considered day-to-day.

Seager suffered the injury while sliding into second base in Game 3 of the NLDS. He hit .295 with 22 homers and 77 RBIs in 145 games this season.
Latest on Red Sox manager search
The Boston Red Sox fired manager John Farrell shortly after their loss in the ALDS to the Houston Astros, and reportedly already have a final group of three they are targeting.
According to Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, former Minnesota Twins manager and current Arizona Diamondbacks bench coach Ron Gardenhire is one of those three.

Former Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus is also considered to be a favorite, who president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski hired following the 2013 season when he was with the Tigers.
Cleveland Indians first base coach Sandy Alomar Jr., Astros bench coach Alex Cora, Dodgers bench coach Bob Geren and San Francisco Giants hitting coach Hensley Meulens have also been linked to the job.

Mets also have interest in Brad Ausmus
The New York Mets are also looking for a manager after Terry Collins was removed following the conclusion of the regular season and have "serious interest" in Ausmus, according to Peter Gammons.

Ausmus went 314–332 in his four seasons as manager of the Tigers but only made the playoffs in his first season with the franchise.
