We're already a full month into the MLB offseason, and the hot stove is in full swing. While a few of the most notable free agents have been taken off the market already, there are a plethora of trade rumors swirling around the league. Here is all the latest MLB news and rumors:
Nationals, Pirates in accelerated talks on Andrew McCutchen trade
News broke earlier this week that the Pittsburgh Pirates were shopping All-Star outfielder Andrew McCutchen, and several teams showed immediate interest. However, the Washington Nationals are the team most determined to get him, and are in talks about a potential deal, according to Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

McCutchen is under contract through the 2017 season with a club option for 2018. He hit .256 with 24 homers and 79 RBIs last season.
Braves looking to trade for ace, targeting Chris Sale, Chris Archer
The Atlanta Braves are looking to have a breakout season after a short rebuilding process, and are hoping to trade for an ace to carry their rotation. According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the Braves are targeting Chris Sale and Chris Archer:
The #Braves still have interest in Chris Sale and Chris Archer, even after adding Colon, Dickey and Garcia. They prefer Sale over Archer.

Sale posted a 3.34 ERA while going 17-10 for the Chicago White Sox last season, while Archer went 9-19 with a 4.02 ERA for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Chapman not seeking $100 million deal
Closer Aroldis Chapman is perhaps the top remaining free agent after Yoenis Cespedes re-signed with the New York Mets, but a few teams reportedly backed away from him when he was asking for a $100 million contract. However, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports that's not true:
Chapman in a great spot, with nyy, lad and sf wanting top closer, plus no draft attached! But report of 100M demand untrue.

Chapman has expressed a desire to sign with the New York Yankees, but won't take a discount to sign with them. He had a 1.55 ERA with 36 saves with the Yankees and Chicago Cubs last season.
