With spring training in full swing and the regular season fast approaching, the MLB host stove is heating up. While there are a few trade rumors circulating around the league, most of the news centers around the status of a few star pitchers. Here are all the latest MLB rumors you need to know from Chat Sports:
Three teams interested in Quintana
The Chicago White Sox have had pitcher Jose Quintana on the trade block all offseason, but will only part with him "for the right price." No deal has materialized yet because of that, but Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports that the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros and Pittsburgh Pirates are all still interested.
This is not to say one couldn’t come together within weeks, days, even hours. Multiple teams, including the Atlanta Braves, have shown continued interest, according to sources. Others known to have been involved at points this spring are the Houston Astros and Pittsburgh Pirates. Stewarded by general manager Rick Hahn, who has gotten industry-wide plaudits for his hauls in the Chris Sale and Adam Eaton trades, the White Sox find themselves capable of asking for the moon due to a number of reasons.
Quintana, 28, went 13-12 with a 3.20 ERA and 181 strikeouts in 32 appearances last season.

Another star White Sox pitcher, Carlos Rodon, was scratched form his start on Friday due to tightness in his bicep and is now expected to start the season on the disabled list.

Rodon, 24, went 9-10 with a 4.04 ERA with 168 strikeouts in 28 games last season.
Indians sign Ramirez to extension
The Cleveland Indians have signed third baseman Jose Ramirez to a four-year extension that can be worth up to $50 million, according to Passan.
Versatile infielder Jose Ramirez and the Cleveland Indians are finalizing a four-year contract extension that will guarantee him upward of $30 million, sources familiar with the deal told Yahoo Sports.
The deal, which includes two club options, will kick in next season and give the Indians control of Ramirez through the 2023 season. If the Indians exercise the options, it could push the value close to $50 million, according to the sources.
Ramirez hit .312 with 11 home runs and 76 RBIs last season.
