The Tampa Bay Rays have several pitchers who could be dealt by the MLB Trade Deadline at 4 p.m. ET today. The most likely to be moved is Matt Moore. He's generating interest from at least the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers. The 27-year-old lefty is 7-7 this year with a 4.08 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. In a down pitching market, he's one of the better options. He's under team control for a few more years, so it's not clear if the Rays will end up moving him.
We'll update this story with any new information.
Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates traded away closer Mark Melancon, but aren't sellers this year.
The Pirates are still in on a couple Rays starters, per source. Targeting LHP Matt Moore, with RHP Jake Odorizzi as the backup option.

The Pirates do need another starter and the team control of Moore is likely appealing. The Pirates are also looking at Ivan Nova of the Yankees.
San Francisco Giants
The Giants already have Madison Bumgarner, Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija, but the back-end could use some help.

Moore would be the No. 4 starter at the worst, and could pass Samardzija as the No. 3. The Giants did already give away their top prospect in a trade for reliever Will Smith.
Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers' reported interest stems from the above tweet. It's unclear if they are still interested, because although they have ties to the Rays' front office, they did trade for Rich Hill today. An offseason trade might make more sense.
