According to Fox Sports MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal, it looks like the Boston Red Sox could be shipping out John Lester and Jon Lackey together as a package deal.

Lester has been scratched from his Wednesday start as trade chatter heats up, and he's been strongly linked to both the St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers in recent days. The suitors haven't been lining up for Lackey in the same way, but the Miami Marlins are reportedly interested. Lackey's contract is extremely team-friendly thanks to provisions added because of his Tommy John surgery, and that makes him easier to move than he would be otherwise.
The Red Sox are committed to following through on their fire sale, and these two pitchers aren't the only players who could be moving before the deadline. Koji Uehara could also leave Boston, and Andrew Miller has been linked with a move as well. Jonny Gomes hasn't been mentioned in as many rumors over the past week, but he could still leave for the right price.
