Football is great and all, but we don't ignore baseball just because the season is over. Luckily for us, there's always something to talk about in the MLB, especially with the Winter Meetings now underway. We've already had one notable trade today and we're here to highlight the six most intriguing rumblings currently out there with the MLB Rumors You Need To Know For Dec. 9th:
Reds Shopping Todd Frazier?
Cincinnati Reds fans love Todd Frazier, but the Reds might end up dealing the star third baseman.
Word I’m hearing is #Reds are shopping Frazier heavily. Makes most sense at this point

The Reds tried to deal Aroldis Chapman, before talks fell apart after teams discovered Chapman was involved in an October incident that the MLB is now investigating. The Reds are willing to deal and Frazier would bring back a nice return. He's just 30 and is one of the better third baseman in the majors. The Indians and White Sox have both been linked to Frazier, but the Reds are demanding a lot for Frazier.
Leake And Nationals?
Mike Leake is one of the top free agent pitchers left on the market. He won't command the same money as Zack Greinke, but he's a durable innings eater that will boost any rotations. The Washington Nationals are trying to lure Leake.

Leake would join skipper Dusty Baker, who Leake played under in Cincinnati. According to Buster Olney, the Nationals are making progress with Leake.
Cueto To St. Louis?
Johnny Cueto is a bona-fide ace, although he's had issues in the past with the St. Louis Cardinals. However, Cueto's agent told MLB Trade Rumors that he believes Cueto and the Cardinals would be a fit.
"Johnny’s best friend is Brayan Pena [Pena signed a two-year deal with St. Louis this winter]. Johnny would love to pitch to him and a catcher like [Yadier] Molina, so I think it would be a good fit," Cueto's agent Bryce Dixon said. "Whether the Cardinals step up with the necessary resources, that remains to be seen. But he has no problem towards the Cardinals and the manager of that [2010 Cardinals] team [Tony La Russa] is with the Diamondbacks organization now. He came down and met Johnny and they had no problem. It’s in the past. It’s unfortunate that it happened, but, on our side, we’ve moved on."
Cueto will take a deal with the team that offers him the most money. Cueto's agent also mentioned the Dodgers as a possible landing spot.
Yankees Trading Andrew Miller?
The Yankees, having already traded for Starlin Castro, might not be done dealing.
The #Yankees could benefit most by Chapman situation, now talking to #Astros and #Dodgers about closer Andrew Miller. https://t.co/0GbPESoLPR

With Chapman in trouble, the Yankees might be able to capitalize and deal Miller to a team that needs a closer. It's unclear exactly who the Yankees would be able to get for Miller.
Cubs Targeting Jason Heyward?
Heyward will likely receive a hefty contract this offseason and the Cubs might be the team to give it to him. CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports the Cubs have interest in the Heyward. It's deep market for OFs, and the Cubs might elect to sign someone cheaper now that they've added Ben Zobrist. Heyman also mentioned Denard Span, who would be a much cheaper option.
Giants The Front Runners For Alex Gordon?
Alex Gordon has plenty of suitors this offseason, and chief among them are the San Francisco Giants.
As the market now begins to shift toward the unsigned outfielders, rival evaluators see the Giants as frontrunners for Alex Gordon.
— Buster Olney (@Buster_ESPN) December 9, 2015
It's not clear just how much the Giants will offer Gordon, but the Kansas City Royals will likely do their best to match any offer. However, Gordon might get a contract out of the Royals' price range. That's what happened with Ben Zobrist.
