Football is great and all, but we don't ignore baseball just because the season is over. Luckily for us, there's always something to talk about in the MLB, especially with the Winter Meetings now underway. We're here to highlight the four most intriguing rumblings currently out there with the MLB Rumors You Need To Know For Dec. 10th:
3 Teams Fighting For Jason Heyward?
We now know who the mystery team pursuing OF Jason Heyward is.
Nats are in on jason heyward. Mystery team has been solved. Washington joins cubs, cards in JH derby.

That makes it three teams in the battle for Heyward, as the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals are all in the race. Heyward will likely get a big contract, and reportedly wants something in the 8 or 9-year, $24 million per year range. The Cardinals traded for Heyward before last season he's been their top free agent target.
Todd Frazier To The Royals?
The Reds appear willing to deal anyone and everyone, including 3B Todd Frazier. One possible landing spot for Frazier could result in a position change.
Most fascinating tidbit I heard today: The Royals talked to the Reds about dealing for Todd Frazier. Presumably would play him in LF

Frazier has been a Gold Glove-quality third baseman, but played plenty of left field in the minors. Frazier is under team control for two more years and has a fairly cheap contract, especially compared to his great production. A fan-favorite in Cincinnati, it would likely take an impressive haul of prospects to get the Reds to trade him.
Diamondbacks Not Done Yet?
The Diamondbacks have already made two massive moves this offseason, dealing for Shelby Miller and signing Zack Greinke. However, Arizona might not be done yet. General Manager Dave Stewart confirmed that the team made another run at Mike Leake and have had discussions about trading for 2B Brandon Phillips. Having already spent so much this offseason, the Diamondbacks would likely only be able to get Leake if he took less money. Which might just happen.
Leake to #DBacks still possible, per sources. Willing to take much less to play at home in AZ. Latest attempt noted by @SteveGilbertMLB.

The Diamondbacks' offseason is the definition of going all-in, especially if they make another move.
Nationals Still Have Interest In Chapman?
With the news of an MLB investigation following Aroldis Chapman's October incident, it seemed like the Reds wouldn't be able to deal the star closer because of the hit to his value. However, the Reds are still trying to deal Chapman as they continue their rebuild. They may have a partner in the Nationals.
Washington Nationals have “a significant interest” in Aroldis Chapman, a source with knowledge of the situation... https://t.co/lqrwwmSaYo
— Marly Rivera ~ ESPN (@MarlyRiveraESPN) December 10, 2015
The Nationals are managed by former Reds skipper Dusty Baker, who is high on Chapman. The club might be able to get Chapman on the cheap because of the MLB investigation. However, this is the same Chapman who was recently called a "toxic asset."
