COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri basketball players entered the team film room Wednesday expecting to re-watch Tuesday’s ghastly 33-point loss to Arkansas. Instead, they were met with something worse.
Coach Kim Anderson, athletics director Mack Rhoades and deputy AD Wren Baker met with the team to inform them of the school’s self-imposed penalties for NCAA violations that took place under former coach Frank Haith.
Among the penalties was a postseason ban for this year, meaning the Tigers’ season will end with the March 5 home game against Florida — not at the SEC tournament in Nashville.
