The online wagering outfit Bovada is out with early 2018 Heisman Trophy odds and one player seems missing from a list of 23 whose chances range from favorite Bryce Love, the Stanford running back, at 7/1, to Ohio State defensive lineman Nick Bosa at 75/1.
The missing player: Missouri quarterback Drew Lock.
Lock announced earlier this month that he would be returning for his senior season. This after he was chosen first-team All-Southeastern Conference at quarterback for throwing an NCAA-best and SEC-record 44 touchdown passes.
The Tigers finished last season 7-6 and Lock ranked among the nation’s top 10 quarterbacks in passing yards (3,964) and passing efficiency.
