Today we’re talking about coping with a loss in the big game. If it’s not obvious from that, I’m a Chiefs fan and was naturally disappointed in the Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. However, with the game being such a butt-kicking, it didn’t take me long to get over it. Sometimes, it’s just not your team’s day and there wasn’t one or two plays that made the difference. And that was undoubtedly the case on Sunday in New Orleans.
In a weird way (probably speaks to my relative level of emotional immaturity) it’s easier for me to process my team losing a game in which they get curb-stomped, rather than losing a last-second heartbreaker.
