While we’re in a recruiting dead period right now, “recruiting season” still is in full swing and I thought it’d be a good time to give everyone a bit of an inside look at the recruiting process.
As you can imagine, there’s quite a bit that goes into a life-altering decision such as choosing a school. So, what really plays into a recruit’s decision? Most recruits would have these same factors, but perhaps in a different order.
Here was my list when I was deciding on a school as part of the 2009 recruiting class:
* Coaches
* System
* Location
* Facilities
* Academic support
* Teammates
* Conference affiliation
That’s what made the most sense to me.
