What ranking means for No. 22 Mizzou men's basketball: 'We don't really care'

COLUMBIA, Mo. — There are teams that play like they have nothing to lose. There are teams, like Missouri football, that play like they have something to prove.

Mizzou men’s basketball is playing like a team that doesn’t care.

That has paid dividends to this point in the season. Sitting at 15-3 overall and 4-1 against Southeastern Conference opponents, the Tigers certainly care about winning. They’re fourth in the SEC, a perfect 14-0 at home this season, 23rd in the NCAA’s NET rankings and shifting the discourse from whether they’ll make the NCAA Tournament to what seed they’ll be.
