The light is bright at the end of the tunnel as we final emerge from our long, college football-less national nightmare. Mizzou fans have gotten spoiled in recent years as we get to catch a glimpse of our Tigers a couple days earlier than most saps who have had to wait until the first Saturday to start their seasons. That shorter wait is no different this year as the Tigers once again kick off their season against an FCS team on Thursday night.
As Mizzou prepares to line up against a Murray State team that is breaking in a new coach after a dismal 2-9 season last year, the final outcome of the game is hardly in doubt.
