After six years of college basketball, De’Myla Brown is not quite ready to give up the sport she loves. This beautiful game has taken her all over the country, playing for five different schools stretching all the way from Illinois to Florida.
Her one year in Florida was quite noteworthy, earning NJCAA First-Team All-American honors at Chipola College. After one year at Western Kentucky averaging under 2 points, she knew it was time for a change. This is what propelled her to take a chance at the Junior College level.
“I thought it was gonna be a lot different, so I was really scared,” Brown said.
