COLUMBIA, MO. • In his first two seasons as Missouri’s basketball coach Kim Anderson hasn’t spent much time agonizing over who starts and who sits when the ball is tipped. Eleven players started games his first season. He used 10 players as starters last year. While suspensions and injuries affected his lineup’s continuity the past two years, only three players started every game in one season or the other: Jonathan Williams III in 2014-15 and Kevin Puryear and Terrence Phillips in 2015-16.
Through the Tigers’ first five games this year, Anderson has stuck with the same starting five.
