Visit from Bradley breaks up Mizzou's long layoff

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Anyone remember the Missouri men’s basketball team?

The Tigers were last seen beating Illinois to win a third straight Braggin’ Rights game, on Dec. 12. The Tigers, up two spots this week in The Associated Press poll to No. 14 despite not playing a game in more than a week, come out of hiding Tuesday when they host Bradley at Mizzou Arena.

It’s the Tigers’ only game over a span of 17 days thanks to unfortunate COVID-19 developments and a little known NCAA rule.

Mizzou (5-0) was scheduled to host Prairie View A&M last Friday, but the Panthers had to cancel because of COVID cases within their program.
