SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH • The first two games of the Cuonzo Martin era looked easy for the Missouri. The Tigers wiped Iowa State and Wagner off Norm Stewart Court, never trailing in either game.
As Mizzou learned long before Martin took over the program, life isn’t so easy on the road.
In their only nonconference game on an opponent’s home floor, the Tigers quickly fell behind Thursday against a veteran Utah team and extended their road losing streak to 36 games with a x-x defeat.
From the opening minutes on the offensive end the Tigers (2-1) looked a lot like last year’s outfit, the worst 3-point shooting team in Mizzou history.
