COLUMBIA, MO. • When Cuonzo Martin’s Missouri basketball team won at Central Florida last year, it marked a milestone for the program as the Tigers snapped a 36-game losing streak in true road games. It had been almost four years since Mizzou won on an opponent’s home floor.
But that wasn’t the same UCF team that will take the floor in Sunday’s rematch at Mizzou Arena. Last year’s lineup was missing B.J. Taylor, a first-team All-American Athletic Conference guard, and Aubrey Dawkins, a transfer from Michigan and the son of Knights coach Johnny Dawkins. A foot injury sidelined Taylor until January last season, while Dawkins missed the entire 2017-18 season with a shoulder injury.
