While we all winced Saturday night away watching Mizzou struggle against the jayhawks, Eli Drinkwitz and staff were busy wooing some potential new members of the transfer recruiting class.
Duke DT Aeneas Peebles and Georgia State RB Marcus Carroll, Jr. were the two recruits known to be on campus this weekend. Both would be additions to positions of need, so we’ll see if Drinkwitz can close the deal on one or both.
Meanwhile, we still await news of Kirby Moore and Blake Baker’s official return to the program. Not that they were really going anywhere, but the natural inclination to match their names with open head coaching positions was there.
