COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri’s 2022 quarterback competition officially adds a contender Wednesday when four-star prospect Sam Horn signs his national letter of intent.
The newly crowned Georgia state champion is widely rated as one of the country’s top 10 quarterbacks in the 2022 class and could develop into Eli Drinkwitz’s franchise QB — the sport’s most important position.
But how soon?
That’s the catch with Horn, also a prized baseball player who plans to play both sports at Mizzou. Unlike some of the nation’s top prospects, Horn won’t rush into his college career.
