Two MU players picked first day of draft

A midseason slump took some sizzle out of Missouri outfielder Kameron Misner’s final audition for the major leagues and might have impacted his draft stock, but he still made some Mizzou history Monday night in the MLB draft. The junior from Poplar Bluff, Mo., slipped past the final pick in the first round, but the Miami Marlins snatched him with the first choice in the competitive balance round, the No. 35 selection overall.
