An eighth Missouri Tigers has been added to a watchlist this summer.
That nomination went to Mizzou kicker Tucker McCann, a fourth-year player that has been named to the Lou Groza Award watchlist Wednesday.
McCann made 24 field goals last season, second high on this year’s list. McCann only trails Syracuse kicker Andre Szmyt, who won last year’s award and is on this year’s list after knocking in 30 field goals in 2018. McCann was 24 of 33, giving the senior a 72.7 percent field-goal percentage. He was 51 of 54 on extra-point tries, nearly equaling his 51-of-53 output the season prior, where he was 15-for-17 on kicks.
