OXFORD, Miss. • Missouri had travel issues getting to Ole Miss and even more once the Tigers got on the court Saturday. Arriving a day late thanks to Friday’s snowstorm, Cuonzo Martin’s team didn’t get to The Pavilion until about 90 minutes before tipoff of Saturday’s game, then proceeded to litter the court with turnovers, including an unusually high number of traveling violations, four in the first half.
By game’s end, the Tigers racked up 25 turnovers in a game they didn’t lead after the first possession and lost 75-65.
It wouldn’t be a Missouri road trip without some travel snafus — the Tigers have had delayed flights either to or from South Carolina, Arkansas and Tennessee — and after Saturday’s late arrival, Cuonzo Martin’s team looked disjointed from the opening tip.
