I grabbed this shot of Brady Cook flipping into the end zone in the first half of the game, and posted it on Twitter as I was filing my pictures at halftime. Little did I know that my picture would end up on the popular Twitter & Instagram account ArtButSports, an account run by an art genius who compares sports photography to great historic artworks.
Being featured on this account is a dream for many sports photographers. Thanks to a tag by Rock M’s Quentin Corpuel, my picture was compared to the painting The Brothel by 14th-century Flemish painter Joachim Beuckelaer.
