COLUMBIA, MO. • The Missouri women’s basketball team could feel the urgency going into Thursday’s game against No. 18 Texas A&M. After losing at Louisiana State on Monday, the Tigers needed a win to ensure their season wouldn’t fall off the tracks during the final stretch.
There’s nothing quite as urgent as overtime, and there’s nothing quite like an overtime win to stay on track. After falling behind by seven points at the end of the third quarter, the Tigers tied the game in regulation and used a renewed defensive effort in overtime to win 70-65 .
