COLUMBIA, Mo. • Ca’ron Baham, a dual threat quarterback from Marrero, La., committed to Missouri’s 2016 recruiting class, he announced on Twitter Saturday. Mizzou is recruiting Baham to play wide receiver, he told the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
"It was a team I was waiting on," Baham told the newspaper. "It's a great opportunity for me to go into the SEC and play. It's an up-and-coming program. They've made the SEC championship game in back-to-back years and I want to be a part of a team like that."
Last season, Baham (6-1, 190) rushed for 1,750 yards and 27 touchdowns for Ehret High School while throwing for 1,080 yards and 10 scores.
