COLUMBIA, MO. • With a week between games, Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson and his staff met with each player individually in recent days and reviewed video of every field goal attempt they’d taken this season. Until last Saturday’s loss to Arizona, Anderson had resisted publicly criticizing the Tigers’ shot selection, but that changed after the 19-point defeat.
“We have taken some bad shots,” he said this week. “We don’t pass the ball as well as we need to, which sometimes leads to not getting the best shot that you can. We keep working on it and keep plugging away.
