COLUMBIA, Mo. • It’s been three years since Missouri had a losing record in the Southeastern Conference standings and three years since the Tigers lost consecutive games. Mizzou’s lived a charmed life in the SEC since that debut season in 2012, when anything that could go wrong seemingly did.
Are shades of 2012 starting to resurface for the Tigers?
Mizzou opened conference play with last week’s 21-13 loss at Kentucky. Little has gone as planned since kickoff in Lexington. The Tigers (3-1, 0-1 SEC) not only lost the game but four starters to injuries. This week, they lost starting quarterback Maty Mauk for a one-game suspension, maybe more.
