COLUMBIA, Mo. • Stuck on a three-game losing streak after a winless two days in Kansas City, Kim Anderson’s Missouri basketball team heads home for a crucial stretch against three beatable opponents at Mizzou Arena.
Starting with Tuesday’s 8 p.m. tipoff against Arkansas State (2-4), the Tigers (2-3) can regain their balance before what figures to be their biggest challenge of nonconference play. After hosting Northern Illinois on Friday and Omaha Dec. 9, Mizzou heads to the desert Dec. 13 to play No. 19 Arizona.
If they want to avoid the meltdowns suffered at last week’s CBE Hall of Fame Classic, the Tigers need to rebuild confidence and restore their shooting before heading west.
