Despite individual improvement from last season, the Missouri men came up short at the Midwest Regional on Friday, November 15. The men’s team entered the National Championship qualifying race ranked fourth in the region, but finished ninth, while the women entered seventh and finished 11th overall.
Given the talented field featuring two of the top 10 teams in the nation, the Missouri men entered the regional with a chance, albeit slight, of reaching the National Championship as an at-large bid.
Prior to the race, Drew Rogers said their training, experience and coach Kyle Levermore’s guidance allowed them to approach this postseason with more confidence.
