Tiger Targets: 3 points are necessary, 4 is preferred for Mizzou Soccer

So far it’s been a less than ideal start for Mizzou soccer (2-6-1, 0-2) to open SEC play. After a narrow 1-0 loss to Texas A&M at home, the Tigers were throttled 8-2 in a road loss to Arkansas.

After playing two NCAA Tournament caliber teams, they find themselves in an early hole. Mizzou is currently one of two teams left without points in the conference, alongside Ole Miss.

Therefore if the Tigers hope to be one of the 12 teams in the SEC Tournament they need to start racking up points and FAST. Facing a pair of teams that are also winless in SEC play, this is a big opportunity for head coach Stefanie Golan’s team to pull out some favorable results.
