Through four games, here’s where Mizzou needs to improve the most

What a difference a year can make.

At this time last season, Mizzou was on an upward trajectory towards the summit of college football. A trip to Nashville featured a number next to MU’s name for the first time since 2019, and a 38-21 victory over the Commodores further legitimized MU’s unexpectedly swell start.

While the number next to their name is even lower now after another win over VU, the Tigers seem to have plateaued.

One of the reasons why they were so good last season was the lack of a major problem area. Completeness is uncommon in team sports because there are so many people involved with creating success; the chance of failure increases with more variables involved.
