Spring football has a logic-defying tradition.
Every player says he is feeling great and, more importantly, believes he will play a more prominent role during the coming season.
Never mind that everyone can’t play more without someone playing less. Spring breeds optimism. So here is Missouri tight end Kendall Blanton, a senior from Blue Springs.
“You just point somewhere on the field, and I think we’ll be there,” Blanton said of the tight ends’ role within the new, pro-style offense Mizzou will run under first-year offensive coordinator Derek Dooley.
