Today we’re talking about a word that I just made up - helmecommunications. Yes it’s a fake word, but the concept is a very real newcomer to the college football world, and I think it’s flying a bit under the radar this off-season. I’m talking about helmet communications coming to college football in 2024 for the first time ever.
I haven’t seen a ton of talk coming out of Mizzou’s camp about this, so if I missed any in-depth looks at the topic, my apologies to the Mizzou media mafia covering camp. I do envision that we’ll hear a bunch about this new addition to college football throughout the year, especially when it plays out as a huge positive or as a huge hindrance (as technology can often do).
