Through its first three games of the 2024 season, it’s safe to say that the Tigers have done what most thought they would do leading up to their matchup with Vanderbilt: go 3-0.
Mizzou took care of business in its first two contests, beating Murray State and Buffalo by a combined score of 89-0. While MU hit some bumps last week against a Boston College team that has played better than expected so far, Eli Drinkwitz & Co. were able to bounce back after falling behind 14-3 in the first quarter.
In essence, expectations haven’t drastically shifted during the first quarter of the season; for a team like Mizzou whose expectations were very high before the season, that’s a good thing.
