Newman received his first offer from Colorado on January 29. Since then, in a little under 18 days, Newman has received offers from Colorado State, Kansas State, Tulsa, North Texas, Texas State, and Missouri. He currently holds seven offers.

It is unclear exactly which way Newman is leaning, but Scout lists Colorado, Kansas State, and Missouri as the the potential favorites as of now.
It appears that Newman is being recruited by Glen Elarbee.
