Missouri's 2019 football recruiting class is up to 14 commitments with Monday's addition of Shemar Pearl, a defensive end from Plano, Texas. Pearl announced his decision on Twitter after taking an official visit to Mizzou this weekend for the Memphis game.
Pearl is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. The recruiting sites rank him as the nation's No. 41 and No. 52 weakside defensive end, respectively. In February, Pearl announced he received a scholarship offer from Alabama. Recruiting sites also list Pearl with offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia, Notre Dame, Purdue among others.
