COLUMBIA, MO. • Terry Petry first gave the University of Houston a verbal commitment in November 2015, but after taking an official recruiting visit to Missouri earlier this fall, the defensive back from Missouri City, Texas, officially changed his plans Wednesday. Petry flipped his pledge from Houston to Mizzou, he announced on Twitter.
Petry, rated a four-prospect by Rivals.com, also holds offers from Kansas and Iowa State. Houston coach Tom Herman recently announcd he was leaivHe becomes the 14th known commitment for Mizzou's 2017 class. Listed as 5-11, 160 pounds, Petry played at Ridge Point High School.
