It happened! Billy Kennedy was finally able to get the Aggies over the top in the SEC as they tied Kentucky for the league championship last year. The momentum the Aggies were able to build after the 2015 campaign turned into a riling success on the backs of a highly talented freshmen class and a group of seniors committed to establishing College Station as a place for basketball. An appearance in the Sweet 16 was the first step for Kennedy, who was probably feeling a little warmth on his seat, but sustaining the success is going to be the trick.
