After overcoming two knee injuries at Missouri, Terry Beckner Jr. was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the first pick (215th overall) in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Beckner saw each of his first two seasons at Missouri cut short by ACL tears, but he played in all 26 games the past two seasons. Beckner spurned the NFL Draft following the 2017 season to return for his senior year.
Over his final two years at Missouri, Beckner totaled 22 tackles for loss with 10.5 sacks; his sack-production fell in 2018, however, going from seven as a junior to 3.
