A long day of waiting for Missouri’s NFL hopefuls ended with just one former Tiger hearing his name called during the final leg of the three-day draft. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used the first choice in the seventh round on defensive tackle Terry Beckner Jr., using the draft’s No. 210 overall pick on the East St. Louis native.
That’s about where Beckner was projected to fall in the draft. Former teammate Emanuel Hall’s day ended much differently. Slotted by some as a possible third-rounder, Hall went undrafted despite his dazzling performance at the NFL combine and two productive seasons as one of the Southeastern Conference’s elite playmakers.
