You could nitpick this game apart if you wanted, but there’s only one real “negative” takeaway from this game.
Missouri still has a ways to go in building this program to compete with the better teams in the SEC. They lack the thing that Georgia, Florida, and Alabama all have— depth. And their lack of depth showed in the end of the game when SEMO began to run it up on Mizzou’s second and third string. They’re building this thing up the right way, but they still need a couple more recruiting classes at their current level in order to acquire that depth.
