Entering Saturday Missouri was in good shape for an NCAA Tournament bid. The loss at Texas really didn’t harm them in any real way, as the Tigers are thankful for the depth and strength of the SEC in that regard. It also helps that the Longhorns turned around and clipped Texas A&M on Saturday.
At the same time, the challenge of the SEC is to avoid long losing streaks. There really are no breaks when it comes to your matchup this year. The closest is a home game against South Carolina, but even the Gamecocks have proven quite plucky away from home at times.
