NASHVILLE, Tenn. — As young Mizzou fans reached over the railing for autographs Monday, a dad said excitedly to his son: “You know, Luther’s going to be a first-round pick! Let’s gooooo!”
Luther Burden III heard the fan and smiled up at the family.
The St. Louis native and standout receiver has already called it a college career. He didn’t play in Monday’s Music City Bowl — No. 19 Mizzou vs. Iowa in Nashville — but still came for the game.
“I just wanted to come out here and support my guys — it’s still my team, I’m still part of the team,” Burden said.
