Mizzou’s improved play finally led to another win, as the Tigers (13-13, 2-9 SEC) won their first SEC road game of the season against a depleted Texas A&M squad (10-13, 3-8 SEC) on Sunday evening. The Tigers’ 69-59 win came courtesy of Grace Slaughter’s game-high 29 points. She finished the game 9-17 from the field, 3-6 from three, and made 8-8 from the charity stripe.
It was a group effort in the first quarter, where six separate Tigers combined for 15 points.
