The No. 14 Missouri Tigers (21-7, 10-5 Southeastern) took on the traveling South Carolina Gamecocks (11-17, 1-14 SEC) with the idea of improving their near flawless record coming off of a loss. Another dominant first half showing at home catapulted the Tigers to a 101-71 victory.
“I thought our guys did a great job feeding off the crowd,” head coach Dennis Gates said. “Our crowd was electric and seeing Mizzou Arena be like that consistently has been a big part of our success.”
Mizzou started the game as the only team having to play South Carolina with some SEC-momentum, as they won their previous matchup against Texas.
